One of the most satisfying things in game for me is combos. The feeling of things stringing together, of an action having a series of sequential effects, or a cause-and-effect-and-effect-and-effect chain... All of these things are practically dopamine on a silver platter. 

So, working on a class assignment (remake Asteroids), I figured... why not make a game based around hitting as many asteroids in a row as possible, complete with a rising pitch audio feedback on successful chains? The end result, while barebones now, is still pretty satisfying in my opinion.
